System Requirements

Before installing QClaw, ensure your system meets the following requirements:

Operating System: Windows 10/11 (64-bit) or macOS 12+
RAM: Minimum 8GB (16GB recommended)
Storage: At least 2GB free disk space
Internet: Stable internet connection for model downloads
WeChat or QQ desktop client installed

Download QClaw

Visit the official QClaw repository to download the latest installation package. QClaw provides a one-click installer that handles all dependencies automatically.

Navigate to the official QClaw download page
Select the version matching your operating system
Download the installer package (~500MB)
Verify the checksum for security (optional but recommended)

Install & Launch

Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. QClaw uses a local-first architecture, meaning everything runs on your own machine.

Double-click the downloaded installer
Accept the license agreement
Choose your installation directory
Wait for the installation to complete
Launch QClaw from the desktop shortcut or start menu

Configure AI Model

QClaw supports multiple AI models. You'll need to configure at least one model to get started.

Open QClaw settings panel
Navigate to 'Model Configuration'
Select your preferred model (Kimi, MiniMax, etc.)
Enter your API key for the selected model
Test the connection to ensure it works

Connect to WeChat / QQ

The final step is connecting QClaw to your messaging platform. This enables AI agents to appear in your chat list.

In QClaw, click 'Connect Platform'
Select WeChat or QQ
Scan the QR code with your mobile app
Authorize the connection
Your AI agent will now appear as a contact

Start Using

You're all set! Open WeChat or QQ and find the QClaw bot in your contacts. Start chatting with your AI agent just like you would with any friend.

Send a message to test the connection
Try asking a question or delegating a task
Explore advanced features in the QClaw dashboard
Customize agent behavior through settings
